After receiving a first class degree in Geography at Aberystwyth University in 2014, Sioned studied towards an MSc in Environmental Change, Impact and Adaptation, completing a dissertation on “The effect of grazing intensity on soil respiration in Mid Wales”.
Now, after receiving a scholarship from the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, she is studying towards a PhD in the field of geomorphology. As part of the work, she will be seeking ways to promote the awareness of geomorphology in parts of Wales, and looking at the importance of those areas in Welsh culture over the centuries.
