Profile
Peter is based in IBERS. He is currently Lecturer with BioInnovation Wales (0.9 FTE) and a Senior Teaching Fellow (0.1 FTE) in the Graduate School. He co-ordinates a number of distance learning modules including Plant Breeding, Horticultural Science, Research Methods and Nuffield Scholars through Bio-Innovation Wales and IBERS Distance Learning. He is also co-ordinator for all distance learning research degrees including M.Sc., M.Res., and D. Ag / Prof. Doc. He further contributes to modules including Controlled Environment Agriculture, Frontiers in Plant Science and UG Research Methods in the Biosciences. He has research interests in horticulture and controlled environment systems, from plant production to human nutrition. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, A Chartered Horticulturalist and a Registered Nutritionist.
