Profile
Katie is currently working on the "Rift Propagation in Ice sheet models (RiPIce)" project, which aims to characterise and investigate the role of marine ice in the stability of the Larsen C Ice Shelf, Antarctica, using borehole drilling, logging, and sensing. Previously, Katie's PhD research investigated the internal structure and subsurface hydrology of a high-elevation debris-covered glacier (Khumbu Glacier, Nepal), through instrumented boreholes and fluorescent dye tracing experiments.
