I came to Aberystwyth in 1988, a fresh faced youth, to do a degree in Computer Science and Pure Maths. This was followed by a PhD in Computer Science, 3 years working as a research postdoc in Biology (applying statistical modelling methods to biological data) and 16 years working for Information Services. I arrived back in Computer Science in October 2014.
