Gruffydd Jones

PhD student investigating the plant-soil interactions of the invasive ericaceous shrub Rhododendron ponticum within Snowdonia National Park. Research interests include plant interactions with soil organic matter decomposition, biogeochemical cycling and soil microbial communities.

Rwyf yn gweithio ar y prosiect BRAINWAVES (https://www.ucc.ie/cy/brainwaves/), sy'n ymchwilio i'r potensial o ddefnyddio llinad y dwr (Lemna spp.) ar gyfer adfer elifiant amaethyddol, gan leihau'r risg o lygredd amgylcheddol a chynhyrchu ymborth gwerthfawr sy'n uchel mewn protein.  

Cyn hynny, cwblhais PhD ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth yn ymchwilio i ryngweithiadau planhigyn-pridd y rhywogaeth ymledol Rhododendron ponticum.
